It was a long time coming. Since January, several abortive attempts in unrealistic conditions (minor breezes) have ended with minor repairs. But then, at last, a wind free day at the beginning of July at Knettishall.

The still shot shows final finishing after the flight, with windscreen, Lewis gun and sight scope added to complete the model. These added <0.5g to bring the total flying weight, with battery, to 51g (1.8oz).
