Following yesterday evenings Club Meeting there are a number of dates you may want to set aside for club events:

  • 2023 Hanky Planky Wacky Races – Kick off planned for April to set the schedule rolling. There will be other club dates, and some planned events at the events listed below, but for a lot of your competition entries you will be able to fly and participate at routine visits to your chosen flying site 
  • BMFA World Record Attempt 2023* – will be combined with the Family Fun Day – Sunday 14 May
  • BMFA Around the World in 8 Hours* charity challenge – we will be organising 8hrs flying between Saturday 1 July and Sunday 9 July inclusive

*There’s a little bit of information about these events in BMFA News, December 2022, pages 54/55. I have yet to find anything on the BMFA website to link to, although they did conduct a webinar a week or so ago.
