Can-Doo, designed by Nigel Hawes, built by Ian McDowell

Now that it is flying successfully – and before I get too carried away with the wild antics it can perform – I thought it high time that I put together a photo report of this plan built canard.

Obviously credit goes to Nigel Hawes for his design. The build had its moments – this was my first ever attempt at a plan build, admittedly with an RCM&E article for guidance – but all’s well that ends well.

The report is almost just photos. I’m reasoning that it’s a simple construction of slabs of balsa, so is largely self explanatory.

This report and many, many more articles and some videos are available from the Photo Reports tab.
