Unmanned Aircraft – COVID19 Pandemic – Extension of Validity Period for all UAS Operating Permissions or Exemptions Expiring on or Before 30 June 2020

This General Authorisation appears to apply to both of our current exemptions – no longer requiring display of the operators number (was to 30 June 2020); and the competency requirement (was valid to 30 June 2020). Bear in mind that the BMFA recommend displaying your Operators Number on your model anyway.

No surprise really, the introduction of these rules has been overtaken by bigger issues.
